Okay so trying to wire in an amp and having issues with the power cable, I have removed the plastic cover behind the foot pedals & tried passing the cable through with no luck. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to drill the hole out?

Ah okay, Any ideas where it came out inside the car?

Just above the brake pedal if i remember rightly it was pitch black and a rush job

I did same as scott, it's right next to the throttle, if you poke a screwdriver through you'll see

Yeah was trying this for ages earlier, cable goes through but seems to run somewhere, but putting a screwdriver through you hit a hard object almost immediately?

I never had this issue although mine was about elbow deep ? If thats any help no longer have a sei to check for you

Ah brilliant thanks, Dunno if its same as my 2001 Sei, Its got like a screw out stopper thats grey?

Just had a quick look, my wire comes through a gromit I cut a cross in directly behind the throttle. Didn't have to remove anything
Mines a S reg sei

I used a grommet by the throttle pedal on my Sei, comes out under the alternator. Don't remove the grommet though nip a small hole in so the cable fits snug or it lets loads of road noise in

I seem to have these 2 grommits on the right of the engine bay & also, the grommit you talked about has a scew cap and looks like this... so not sure if the same?

Look behind the throttle pedal not the brake pedal

Tried going through behind the battery?? In through where the speedo cable goes?? Thats where mine used to go through... although mines a cinq
