I have bought a Seicento sporting 1.1 W 2000 reg but the clutch cover plates are missing so I can see flywheel etc, I don't know what the plates look like so not sure what im looking for to get replacements.

Has anyone got an image / drawing etc to help me out?

Should there be a plate between the starter motor and the bell housing as well?

Thanks, in that case i'll leave them off, has anyone got specs for the starter motor bolt sizes as they are missing from my seciento...

in fact has anyone got an exploded diagram of starter motor/ bell housing / engine block as im missing a few of the nuts and bolts on mine

cheers!

Thanks for the link to Library, very useful... think I have a bracket missing now but cannot be 100% sure as I think lots of this car was missing...

There are 2 gear linkages the one nearest the back of the engine is fixed to the gearbox via 3 bolts in a triangle configuration, no problems have all the bolts etc, the front linkage bracket has 2 holes one of which shares the furthest forward bolt of the rear linkage but cant work out where the other whole / bolt goes...

I checked images from the library and no images of these brackets...

Am I missing another bracket or something? anyone got any experience with this?

I have attached 2 pics. first one shows the rear mounting plate, the red arrows indicate bolt hole in bracket & hole in gearbox, this is the 'shared' hole I referred to before. the other shows the forward linkage bracket again red arrow shows the common bolt hole for both brackets the yellow arrow is the mystery because it doesn't actually line up anywhere...

thanks

p.s. not quite sure how to put pics in so I have linked them.

Make sure the linkage is running between the bulk head and the steering rack. else it won't reach, i have made that mistake before!

Actually from your picture it does look right, try and wiggle it into position!

yes no problem with it reaching just cant work out where the other hole lines up to so I can bolt on

I will bolt on tomorrow and take more images to show what I mean fully

I'm in Southampton, I'll bolt on tomorrow and take some more pics might be apparent at that point that something is missing. Maybe I just need a trip to a breakers yard to see one in an assembled state.

Thanks for the image, yes we were missing part of the bracket, it was apparent once we looked at your image and looked at a car at the breakers! Actually got the car working now once we got the gearbox back on, what a lump that was to shift with no room to manoeuvre, it works perfectly! Drives great as well, very surprised!
