In the process of replacing my clutch, I've bu**ered the rubber boots covering the ball joints on the lower wishbones.

Help please...
where can I get new boots?
anyone got some undamaged ones from their old wishbones?

I don't really want to replace the lower wishbones because...
- there's nothing wrong with the ball joints (apart form the rubber boots)
- removing the lower wishbones is a moderate pain
- I've only just fitted new powerflex bushes to the wishbones 3 weeks ago and I'm not sure I could transfer these without damaging them

Any help/suggestions much appreciated

Chris

OK. I understand where these would be used. Any idea where I might find some piccies, to make sure how they look and would fit my requirements

Thanks

Chris

hi ive recently done my front arms and they are still in the scrap metal bin at work!!
so ive just been out and dragged them back out, removed the boots to see if they are any good. theres a small nick on each in the area where youve probably split yours but it hasnt gone through.
ive attached a pic but its from my mobile so its not very good.
pm me your address if you want them
or you could buy that kit off ebay that pauls found. pretty good kit that but if you only want 2 then....theres always next time! hehe.

Thanks to both of you - I'll try and buy the kit off ebay

And Philbo - yes please, they are in way better condition than what I've managed to do to mine, so a PM is on its way to you.
