recently registered and said hi after finding site whilst info searching.

Need some help as my gf has bought a seicento as her first car she loves it small nippy and great for around town.

the main problem we`ve got please bare with me as i`m new to fiats is the the main hose in the bottom of the engine that leads to a 4 branch which goes to the bottom of the rad, into the heater matrix i think and to the exp bottle has split not good after giving car a major overhaul all fluids dropped & change etc.

Can this piece be changed on its own i think its roughly 30mm dia or will i need to find a complete new hose unit

yes bottom rad hoses or other hose can usually be bought separately.oops this looks like an all in one.

plus you will need new hose clips and coolant.

that was one of my concerns is it an all in one unit I need to purchase or can it be done in seperates.

forgot to mention its the 1108 engine in the seicento

if this is the same 1108 fiat fire engine that is in the Cinquecento could the plastic 4 branch section which is used on the cooling pipes be used on the seicento.

no all in one unit ,trouble is if one bit goes the other bits go latter.

google image will show your setup as it could vary as its a different engine.

What year is the car as we don't know if it's spi or mpi engine?
Depending where the split is, you can buy alloy pipe couplers and cut out the split bit.

Whoops the car is 1998 s-plate

The split has happened as it leaves the bottom of the engine just before it enters the 4 branch piece.

Ooh dear guess my hopes have been squashed looks like its a trip to fiat or net surfing.

If it could've been done was gonna order some reinforced hoses Nevermind was hoping after searching found a link to this site by a guy called scuderia who did the pipe changes on his cinquecento.
