Are all FIRE rocker gasket the same; ie- will a 998 be the same fitment as the 1108 sporting??

Well the 1242 and 1108 SPi heads are the same, and they use the same rocker cover gasket, dunno about the 999cc though

I don`t think so the 999cc motor looks completely different,but if you don`t get an answer i`ll check on my computer at work.(Halfords)

The covers are the same, and the engines DO look the same only the 1.2 block is 10mm higher. You must be refering to the 1.2 16V and the 8V 999, yes those do look completly different. I can go snap a pic off both engines right now if you want!!

Your right,i was confused with the ohv 899cc in the cinque sx not the 999cc fire,

Cheers chaps. Got a new gasket from ebay with about 25% saving (including the postage) over the main agent price..

They are interchangeable (i've asked a friend that works at a dealer) for some reason the 1242 one is cheaper though!!
