Can anybody help just bought seicento s 1108cc.

Car just seems to decide each time it is used as to whether it wants to start or not. Most mornings are fine but if I stop for Petrol theres a good chance it wont start when I come out.But it has really no set distance, time or reqularity. Some days starts every time but it seems to be worse since it was serviced.Could be coincidence but Its starting to get to me.dont want to sell it but if it doesn,t get sorted soon no option

Hope someone has ideas

thanks

Electrical was also my initial thought as there is no pattern, check battery when engine off and re-test while running to check charging levels.

Over 11.4v are needed to start the car and the alternator should be putting back around 13.8v

Hi,
I agree with "dawozere", something could be wrong with the crank position sensor.....but if thats ok, check out the fuel pump relay, it may have burn't contacts inside....you should have a buzzing noise for 1 or 2 seconds coming from under the rear seat when you turn the ignition on, if this doesn't happen every time then the relay could be at fault.....

Thanks
