Hi,

My sister has a year 2000 Fiat Seicento, recently one of the front wipers has stopped working.

I wanted to rule out a blown fuse as the issue initially, so I'd like to know where the covering to the fusebox is located and which fuse I should be replacing.

We didn't get a manual with the car when we bought it second hand.

Is this problem likely to be a fuse or a broken motor?

thanks,

gwa

do u know ive just had the same bloody problem!
my wipers came off the runner.. when fitted it juddered then ceased to work. cant be the fuse because the rear works and the washer on the front works .. just no wiper movement:bang:!!
does anyone know were the relay is for the wipers? ive been told either the engine ( checked ) or the fuse box inside? there are a few larger boxs next to the fuses is one these the wiper relay?? if anyone knows pleease help:worship:.. i need to drive xmas day
thanks and sorry to hijak this thread but cant work this site out lol

Does the motor work? If the motor works but the wipers don't, then the linkeage has broken, or maybe the gearbox. Access is through the carpet stuff on the passenger side of the engine bulkhead.

I don't think there is a relay. Why should there be?

I posted the diagrams of the fusebox layout here a week ago. (See post #5)

These things are very expensive from FIAT, who will only sell you the lot. So, off to the scrappy sharpish tomorrow. Cinq ones are identical.
