Hi, hopefully one of you clever people will tell me which washer pump is which on a SPI seicento? Without me getting under there and removing things

Buggered if I can remember. But you'll have to get down there to check/swap over anyway. Remember that the rear one is not an MOT item.

I won't get there until the battery has been removed so no can't do testing

I've found that the SPI pumps have 3 wires on the plug, whereas the MPI ones have 2 wires.
Obviously if the plugs have already been removed then that cancels that method of investigation.

If it was MPI it would be easier as there's only one pump.
SPI have two visually identical pumps. One does the front one does the back.
Incidentally it's the back one that's not working but when i get to the washer the battery will have been removed so can't test although i suppose i can follow the hoses to see where they go

if the front one is working, just swap the plugs over and test to see if it is working?
If I remember right, the outer one is the rear, the inner is the front but it's been a while since I had to swap them over so not 100%.
