Posts: 8 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0  |  alarm problems just recently got a seicento that had been sitting in a garage for several years and the battery is dead, after charging the battery and putting it back in the car as soons a turn the ignition the alarm is set off and cannot be stopped  , how do i go about fixing this?thanks scott

| Cinq/Sei Section Mod   | Re: alarm problems They don't come with alarms as standard so as cc1 says, find and remove the fuse to disable it and then find out what make/model it is and search for a user manual (google). shoxik thanked for this post

| | Re: alarm problems You'll probably have to trace the wires back because of it being aftermarket it could be anywhere. I'd expect an in line fuse to be there or for it to share a fuse with something else

If the alarm can be switched off by simply removing a fuse, then if they were thinking straight, the fuse will be well hidden. I would be tempted to download the wiring diagram and remove all the alarm wiring and reinstate the original, unless you can quickly get a handle on how its been wired. Cheers D

Posts: 8 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: alarm problems i have found the fuses and pulled them out and the engine would turn over, i left the car to go have lunch and when i come back the alarm was going off again when i tried to turn the car on  . i have now bought i new battery and have the same problems :@
