Hi all, bit of a straight forward question, i need to connect a wire to something which is grounded when the ignition is off, i realise the +12v ignition is the obvious choice, was wondering if there was anywhere else?
This is on a cinq btw
cheers

what for.. you're post doesnt make sense.

if u're after a ground, then a +12v isnt an obivous choice

iirc the orange wire on the ignition barrel is live when the ignition is on, but theres no ground switching going on.

what it is i have a varad scanner, i cant be botheres to hook it up to my alarm (too many wires)
basically it needs connecting to a wire which is ground when the ignition is off so when you turn the ignition off it comes on automatically, the other wire will obviously be joined to a live
