Hi,

Wondering if anyone knows how I can go about replacing a broken remote fob for the central locking? I think that I might be able to replace the fob along with a unit that fits near to the fuses rather than going along to a Fiat dealer and asking them to rip me off.

I have one blue key with a 2 and the transponder signal on it, and obviously one broken remote locking fob. I have no owners book, codes or numbers.

All advice appreciated..

you may be best off fitting an aftermarket remote locking unit. either that or i guess you could try ur luck at finding a fob and reciever unit but good luck with that one

is it broken as in smashed into pieces or just not working?

i have one of these thats smashed up. fiat wanted £80 for a new one. no idea where else to get one so i just took the alarm off
