just bought 2 used washer pumps that work fine:) but they leakin from where the motor joins the plastic , any ideas how i could fix em, or is it time to just buy new ones?

already bought 2 used bottles one came with no pumps:bang: and one with the leakin pumps:bang:
costin me a few dabs in used parts that no use, any advice VMA:worship:

fiat doblo van vreg 99 has the same washer pumps iirc try fiat.

also its just the rubber rings on the pumps and are interchangable. where are your originals???

i cheated becuase i was skint and used instant gasket but i suppose any silicone sealant would work. did for me.

hi i used the original rubber washers that wer on my washer bottle, they wernt leakin with old nackerd pumps on.

soz didnt explain proper wher leakin from. the rubber washers are fine dont seem to be leakin at bottle, i think the actual pumps are leakin from wher the metal motor body joins onto the white n black plastic on the valve.

hmmm there a sealed unit no water goes in there...... and if it does then the electric motor is running in water which is not a good combo/wont work.

any chance of a picture?

i got these ones as in the link HWP18 £17 each, you just have to cut off the connector plugs from the wires that plug onto original pumps and put small spade connectors on wires as the plug isnot same connection, worth it tho, i spent £40 on useless used parts befor i got the new ones from halfrauds.

Yeah.. it's impossible to get hold of the Cinq' washer motors as a separate part from Fiat (you have to buy a whole washer bottle, complete with 2 motors attached).

I found that the washer motor from a Ducato van of the same age is exactly the same and it is available as a spare part (circa £30 though) if you don't want to go the Halfords route.

The Fiat part number is 71711241.
