hey guys

im getting my bonnet / bootlid smoothed at somepoint, but was just wondering...

where can i relocate the washer jet on the front?
i dont want it on top of the bonnet where it usually is, wanted to tidy it up a little :D

I believe some Peugeots or Citroens had them integrated into the wiper arm, though I hear this caused issues in extreme cold with frozen pipes.

yes this does happen a lot, some HGVS (volvos do) have this method, however if you try this method, you will end up with the washer pipe stuck out and on show

dave has wipers with built in washer jets on his punto,

could you not get them on the scuttle panel somewhere? or is it not big enough on the cento?

Go to scrap yard and look around for a jet that fit on the wiper.
I have a really long one (from a lucida or privia iirc)
had to glue it on.
works really well because it covers the whole screen it washer fluid.

never had it freeze even after our winter.
pipe is wrapped around the heater matrix feed pipe so the water comes out hot, which is great for removing bugs

My Alfa 155 has 2 twin nozzle jets on the scuttle panel (hidden by the bonnet).
Should be easy to source and fit.

dave, were they specific to the punto?

had a quick look under seicento and theres nothing with the washer jets built in....

would i have to get some the same size from a different car, and fit them that way?

and custard, is that for the back?

cheers
