hey guys i wonder if you can help im in temiddle of replacing the fuel tank atm
in the haynes manual there is a blue pipe inh the tank which is connected somewhere but as you will see from the attached picture this pipe has been severed on my tank can you shed any light on what this piepe does and if it should be intact

iirc its a breather pipe there should be a pipe running off the top of the tank and if memory serves me right it should be pointing to the passenger side of the car... its pretty obvious when u get the tank out where it goes
