I have had a problem with seicento cutting out,losss of power after about 20 mins or so ,when it is hot,and ok again when it is cooled ,,,the pipe going into the top of the expansion tank is hot and so is the one that comes out the bottom water is circulating there.... the large pipe to the right of the engine is hot but the pipe going into the right hand side of the rad is cold and so is the rad engine bay gets very very hot,,,how do i text the water pump and where the hell is it on a seicento 2001 1.1 sporting thanks

The water pump is driven by the camshaft toothed belt. It is forward of the alternator and higher up than the alternator.
Could be you rad is blocked, simplest to remove it and have it flow checked.

Re: think i solved it

I think i solved the problen although its early days,,i was convinced it was a heat problem and i noticed the 2 plugs that plug into the top part where the HT leads run into the plastic protection cover had broken off both of the 2 cables about 3 inches missing on each one....so i insulated these 2 cables on the parts that was exposed and since then havent had any trouble,,,,but uts only been 2 days driving without incendent is it possible that theses cables got hot and caused the malfunction
