Hi everybody,
yesterday I got a trouble with my little car fiat 600 1.3 : when I switched on the key all the indicator lights were ok and I heard the typical noise of the gasoline pump. The starter was spinning properly and the engine too but it looked like no gasoline arrive to engine: no smoke or any other combustion signal. I left the car in the parking and I returned home by train disappointed and angry. This morning I tried again before calling assistance and... the car starts perfectly... so what the hell is going on? Electrical contacts? What can I check before to leave my 600 to Fiat Assistance? I'm afraid that they cannot find anything and I will pay for nothing.. I'm confused . I forgot to say that the only thing I've noticed is that the clock time on the dashboard was reset.. maybe an electronic self-reset in the night?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english

The clock resetting might suggest a bad earth / loose battery connection. BUT if the starter was working, it's not likely..

An intermittent fault like this, i'd be looking at the Top Dead Centre / Crank Sensor.

(your english is better than my italian!)
