I have been reading through the article "FIRE tuning" in the faq-section quite a few times now. This article claims that the 999cc FIRE uses push rod actuated valves. This is completely new to me, and the 999 FIRE I have in my garage has a overhead cam. To use push rods in a FIRE would be completely against the main thought behind the FIRE - as few moving parts as possible. Can anyone fill me in on this claim that the 999 uses push rods? Have I missed something?
Other than that it's a great article, I recommend it to anyone interested in these tiny engines. Direct link here.
