Does anybody else think that this design has a major floor?

The round plastic bit on the motor that the wiper linkage sits on seems to be the main problem......

As you've prob guessed mines is knackered!

Don't really wanna spend £75 quid on a new linkage as all I need is the plastic bit....

Any ideas on what to do as it keeps jumping off and getting caught.....

Would just putting a bolt through the plastic work?

Cheers

Hi,
Mine sounds awful as well, as if its about to fall apart at the next wipe, what does the likage end look like, is it the ball and socket type ?
if so you could put a piece of heavy duty plastic bag type material between them, squeeze them back together and trim off the excess material this sometimes works for a while..

Hoping mine will last through the winter so I can take it apart and repair when the weather has improved.

go to the scrappy, get a uno wiper an linkage... blam, single wiper conversion!

i am sure there is a walkthrough of how to do it on here somewhere!

Dead easy. Drill a small hole through the shank. Put split pin in. I did mine like this over a year ago. Still going strong.
