can anyone help my cinq is all running fine but my window washer on the front isnt working and my flashing full beam isnt but everything else is, i was woundeing if it was a fuse because you have to pull both of them to get them to work.
please help

thanks
sean

Check your fuses under your steering wheel, theres a pannel with a screw just under the screw and the pannel pulls off revealing fuses and theres a diagram on the back of the pannel showing which fuses do what.

Just see which ones are split and replace :)

Thanks

Hold on. You have to pull both window washer (on the right stalk) and full beam (pull forwards on the left stalk) for them to come on? Surely a wiring/earth problem (i.e. one is earthing through the other circuit) but check fuses first.

Washer problems are usually corrosion related.

Whip the liner out and look at the pipes leading from the motor(s).

The rubber connectors can pack up.

If intact, check the motor is getting power, test lamp will do.

Motors can fail, and corrosion can get into the cabling. both causes of no washers.

If you have the single motor system it goes one way for front, reverses for rear. If you have the twin motor system, and the rear works, swap the connectors to check motor working or not.

If the full beams work in the normal position and its just the flasher thats not working, possibly the switch is faulty.

Cheers

thanks guys i got the full beam on now just a lose connection it got fixed with trusty wd40 and a big of wiggling about but i will have to see about the window washer another day but thanks for all the comments
thanks sean

would be worth removing the tank completely and thoroughly cleaning everything because there are filters on the pumps inside the bottle that can get clogged up recently done mine and everything works. you might also want to remove the washer jet and soak in warm water just to make sure the it isn't clogged up.
