Anyone able to tell me the diffreence between the schumacher sei seats and the normal mk2 seats?

nothing is there? there the same grey and black ones as in any mk2

My mk 2 has completely blue seats wih the funky slightly oval headrests, pretty sure the schumy has different headreasts (padded?) and is in grey and black, possibly with bigger sides to hold you in?

Dunno. Are the Schumi ones not Abarth ones which are Sporting ones with an Abarth logo?

I thought the mk1 had a choice of red or blue...did some have an abarth logo on the headrest?

The mk2 then came out with the grey and black ones - possibly with abarth on the headrests, although looking at some pics of the schuey, not all have the abrth badge, and some standard sei (sportings) dont have the headrests at the back...

wondererd what the craic is...would love a set of the abarth schuey ones one day...i just wanted to check they were standard and weren't something i'd seen with a badge sown on

heres a pic of my mk2 seats, mine have the abarth badges on them too. the shui cars arn't abarths, they have the kit and alloys but their badged differently, they don't have any badges on the headrests. the mk2 S and SX's have smiler seats but no rear headrests (although I'm not 100 percent if the SX has or not)

SX does have rear head rests in mpi/mk2 form

as said there is no difference, they have an abarth badge on them which differs them from sporting seats, but exactly the same as ones from an abarth model.

If you are after a set and someone is saying there is a difference they are pulling a fast one

Yeah i have a set of seats out of a schumi and they just the same as my MPi Sei sporting had?
They are also too tall if that makes sense? Feel like im up in air now

yes or a schumacher. Sporting seats are the same,colour/material but dont have the logo

Stick up a classifieds or get on ebay to see if a set going, or get hunting round the scrappies

If you keep an eye on the classifieds a mate of mine maybe selling one of 2 sets he's got for his. but knowing him, he may change his mind again.
