Anybody be able to help me find the best priced aftermarket back box for the seicento?

Just a replacement back box.... i dont mind what brand but obviously one with a nice tune to it.... and how do you go about fitting them do you have to cut the pipe and slide the new on or what?!

Thanks in advance for your help.

As an example, I've got a Supersprint. Not overly loud, nice note, subtle at normal revs but gives a nice growl with some beans. My problem was I spent too much on it (£185) after which was reliably told I could get a full system (cat-back) custom made for not much more than that. If you can save up £200 and have a word with a local specialist, they should be able to sort something out :)

yeah i used the search and heard good things about supersprint. Came across this is this the one its not a cat back just the back box:

sweet how do you go about fitting it is it a slip on sort of thing or cut the standard pipe. sorry for the questions i know how to fit motorbike exhausts just wonder if its simular in car world.

Thanks for your help!

In my case I had to cut the pipe but was an easy job. The SS backbox comes with a sleeve which slips over the existing pipe, and backbox then slips onto this and you clamp it up. Job's a good 'un! :D

okey dokes simular to motorbike zausts then..... I'll go for that one then as its a good price and what im looking for sound wise. one last question and then i think everything will be answered is it a 3" tail pipe to fit in the cut out of the sporting rear bumper without risk of melting or rattling on it.

Thanks for your help its appreciated (y)

Yep, it fits perfectly in the existing cut out in the bumper.

In my case I didn't need to as they were fairly new, but check your mounting rubbers ... if they look to be quite perished I'd be inclined to replace them too :)

Here's how it looks on mine:

that looks really nice and not OTT, yeah ive been under my car last weekend to do the rear drums and inspeceted things like that and they did look in good nick tbh...... so hopefully they wont dicentigrate when i change the back box.

Bear in mind the exhaust you posted, it isnt a full stainless system, so it will rust over time

what website did you find the exhaust off? :) is it the main supersprint website?

Cheers

Well, in Romania we have a direct importer and the parts price is the catalog price, without delivery costs.

They also have in UK two dealers.
