never really understood the "springs settling". are you saying after they have "settled" is the spring shorter then it used to be? if so this would mean the metal is faulty or has some kind of defect as it would of passed its yield point.

anyway... I fitted -40s to mine. car dropped about 10mm if that. think everyone's is pretty much the same. might be due to the cars age and the springs have weakend

measure the gap from arch to centre cap, jack the car up so both front wheels are off the ground, lower it back to the ground, do not get in the car, and then measure the gap from arch to centre cap. there will be a difference.

In Tring. Have std shelf with 4" speakers in. Also have stealth shelf with holes for 6x9s.

PM me.

it takes some settling mate, take a pic today and another in a few days.. you will be able to see the difference

this is 40mm on my sei.

That is just so damn gorgeous :eek:

To the OP: do you have a sporting perhaps? They're apparently some 20mm lower than standard Centos, so the initial 20mm drop combined with old springs and not properly bedded new ones might make for no difference... just a thought :)

for -40mm springs on 14" wheels, I'd say that looks about right.

If you wanted to, you could take 15mm off each bump stop, that might allow it to drop slightly more, while its on the ramp have a look to see if the car is resting on the bump stops, it may well be.
