Can anyone tell me where the fuel pump relay is on a Sei 1.1 MPI 2003 Active?

Just above the ECU I can see two lumps of plastic under a black cover, one is black the other red. I assume one of these is the fuel pump relay, can anyone confirm? I'm looking for the wire (black/violet) for connecting a rev counter to - pin 23 from the ECU. Trouble is I can see what looks to me like it could be the right wire from both the black and the red relays. Any help appreciated.

If it were me I would splice the wire off the loom as near to the ecu pin 23 as possible, this way you can be sure you have the correct wire. You can if you want backprobe the plug corrisponding to pin 23 and use an ohm meter in between to the wire you think is the correct one elsewhere to do a continuity test.

it doesn't have one

it has a main injection replay, and a fan relay, thats it.

I'm not sure which pin is 23 on the ECU. I don't want to mess too much with the ECU as I know its pretty easy to kill them if you are not careful. Plus I don't want to mess up the wiring loom. What I was going to do was find the wire in need on the relay then trace it into the vehicle then splice into it inside the dash. I though this would be neater and better protected from the weather.

I didn't think that method of fitting a rev-counter was usable on the MPI engine.

I have no ida if this pin is correct, I am only going on the lively postings from pit_crew and others on the how to fit a rev counter. I am sure, or at least hope they have done their reserch on the subject.
