Are they the abarth option wheels?? There was two styles of abarth wheels for the sei but you hardly ever see them ones. Who else is it with them? (on a yellow sei on here).

Can't help but loving the sei, looks ace

Re: seicento small project to 75

Yes Emma's car has them, they were an optional extra and as such pretty rare as more expensive new than the standard Abarth wheels, i really lik ethem as they look great, just wish they were 6" wide rather than 5.5" to be able to fit 195/45 rubber.

There was a set going on ebay this/last week by Desira Fiat that were new and unused ex-display stock.

Re: seicento small project to 75

almost finished the car today it runs and drives i took it up the duel carriageway pulls so much better now lots more torque will be much more fun to drive, however i didnt tighten the crank pulley properly and it came lose and had to tow the car back to the garage, the new pulley has broke so gonna have to wait until tuesday so i can order another one from the fiat garage,

i've put the standard cat manifold and bent and cut the pipe after the manifold so it fits for now i'm going to take it down to unique exhausts in stafford and have it done properly.

Re: seicento small project to 75

car is booked in wednesday at unique exhausts in stafford to have the exhaust sorted so it clears the strut brace and fits properly, wanna keep the exhaust standard for now.

i've got hold of a sei sporting rev counter which i want to fit, i found the wiring for it behind the centre heater vents which just plugs in and it works mint, i'm not looking forward to cutting a hole in the dash for it though does anyone have some tips for doing it??

will get some pictures up asap!

i'm going to get hold of a 1242 16v throttle bodie should be more of an induction roar

Re: seicento small project to 75

On the Sei Sporting dash there's a sort of cut out and, beneath it, a wee plastic tray thing.

I think the only sensible way to do it is to make a paper/card pattern and attack the dash with something like the slot saw/router attachment on a dremel-a-like. Maybe leave a bit to be fine toleranced with a coarse file. Trick would be not to scratch the dash, so a couple of layers of duct tape where you're not cutting would be a good idea.

If you can wait till the end of the week, I've got a 16v TB you can have for £15 inc P&P (I'll clean it up first).

Re: seicento small project to 75

almost finished the car now, exhaust is done it runs the standard mpi 1.1 manifold and system,

only bad thing is the engine sounds like a ford cvh and is very tappy, is there something that i've missed with it? does it need re-shimming? also the injector light has come up on the dash and when you boot it the light flashes!

i've also fitted a water temp guage and a sporting rev counter, will get some pics up v soon
