Thanks, thats really handy!

Supposedly got a mobile mechanic coming round to look at it today, just waiting to hear from him.

I was quoted £650 from the garage I went to so with any luck this guy will be able to do it for half that provided I hear from him...

£650, I think, is way too much unless you lived in Central London.

I know, especially if you consider that the car is only really worth about £700 at the most, its ridiculously steep.

However good news - the mobile mechanic has quoted for £220 and it'll be back by Monday
