Here is a pic of our drive picked up the white soliel today from durham for all of 150 english pounds ... drove back fine with a stop off in leeds to see a friend then a 200 mile drive from there back home was happy at 70 on the motorway already got some sporting wheels to fit and a few other bits will keep you updated with the progress

well took it out for a drive today and gave it a clean this morn and got the roof to work (ish)

Yeah i couldnt let it go to the scrappy . the car is off the road now so will be starting work soon need to find a friend with a welder . got some sporting wheels on it now

Here is a pic of the good side ... hehe the other side the wing is abit rotten . found the reason for the rust the rear lights were not refitted right so was letting water in .
Thanks for the info on the roof andy should be able to make some parts to fix it at work

yeah i put one of the lights in at a scrap yard in the p***ing rain so it was just rushed then couldnt be botherd too do anything with the car. think i just got it running ok then i got the sporting. that rotten arch was just a mash up to get it thru its last mot there was just a big hole there.so i just quickly welded in some plate and bodge n primerd it. did a hole nere the sill at the same time took my time with that one tho. when you find ur welder friend to do that strut there is a hole in the passenger side foot well that needs sorting aswell it is where i patched on the underneeth but didnt get round to doing the inside. wont take much work tho. my cinq is just falling to bits at the min needs sump gasket just noticed the water dissapering its comeing out the timing belt cover so i guess the water pump is dead i hope thats all it is. still wating for the gbox mount got the tracking to do this weekend.
never get bored with cinqs always something to do
