anyone no where the relay and what the wire are i need to run a feed from a switch to get the fuel pump working.

On top of the ECU. May be better to test by substitution (I think they're very ordinary relays).

On my mpi there was no fuel pump relay, just a main injection relay and a fan relay

If it is spi, then, its where fingers said.

it was an spi engine. do you mean the white relay next to the ecu. i might just run some new wires i have a circuit board and key fob with 3 channels on it. i could use the one channel for the fuel pump one for the ignition on and one for start .

Are there not two relays (maybe under a cover) at the back of the ECU? I think the white one is the main relay.

Dunno what your circuit board is like, but they don't use relays for fun: I'd expect the current to destroy most PCBs very quickly indeed.
