Sorry for ridiculous question but I have no oweners manual so can't find out like that.

The handbrake light has started staying on after the hand brake has been release. This has conicided with me replacing the Pads and Discs and a strange noise coming from the front driversside.....Gunna get it up on Axles stands and have a look tonight....

Hmmm thanks Rallycinq (again!!!) I'll check it.... it flickers on and off....The brakes don't feel spongey or anything like that.....ah well I'll check it.

Fluid could be a bit low, but it worries me that this is after a pad change. Usually pushing the piston back increases the quantity of fluid in the reservoir, not reduces it.
(I presume you took the cap off to release the pressure, so did you put it back on?)
Have a wee peak underneath to make sure a piston seal hasn't gone. The side with the noise might be a hint.

Cheers

Yeah cap is definitely on.... I'll have a check of the piston in the caliper tonight and see. Thanks for your help. Are caliper service kits available incase the seal has gone or is it a replacement caliper??

Nope I haven't had a chance to check yet. Checked the Fluid level and its fine but the gubbins on top of the cap was all over the place. Put it back together and light is still on. Depending on the weather I'll try to have a look tomorrow
