(G) Tapping from cinq back end!

My car recently had a new exhaust fitted , there was one problem though the bit at the back box that hung onto the car snapped off so had to be welded back on , and now and then depending on at what speed im going it sounds like summet is flying about down there like a grating tapping sound the only noise i can describe it as is like a sheet of metal flapping its not to bad, any idea as to what this may be? my exhaust is still on lol so its not that also when im parked up with my engine on theres a big vibrating sound also from exhaust area which can be quite loud any ideas ?

It's likely to be the exhaust. Waggle the exhaust around as hard as you can (sticking something like a broomstick up it will help) and see if it bashes against anything.

Or you could just take it back to whoever fitted it and complain!

It was a friend that fitted it lol the garage just welded it back to the car.Ill give it a good shake!

I gave it a shake shake and its rock solid.... my poor car
