I thought that you were gonna make your own Turbo kit for the Cinq - what happened to that idea?

Anyway - this may help a bit - it's a PM I recieved a while back from a guy in Poland who has put the 1.4 (made to 1.6!)Uno Turbo engine in his Cinq. Not too much info - but at least it is proof that it can be done if you have the money/time/expertise!

Matt

Come on guys....someone MUST be able to give me the polish guys email address....or a contact name and email of someone in this country who has done this conversion. I was going to turbo my 1100 engine but I thought what the hell.....why not drop the 1.4 turbo in. All that concerns me is the Engine and Gearbox mounts and exactly what has to be dont to the shell to fit the engine in. The rest...I can work out myself.....Ive put a Honda VTEC Engine in a Mini as my last project so this will be roughly the same I guess!!!

My Fiat Technician mate even suggested dropping the Copue Turbo engine and box in.....that would be fun wouldnt it!!!

HELP GUYS????

Cheers

c that is the problem... i would b well up for a 1.4 gt engine, but i thought the mounts were different which is y not many people have tried it.

i am sure if u have a word with some companies knows for doin crazy s**t they would have a bloody good go. dalvyns body shop (who did the first yaris kitted sei) would prob b up for somethin like that.

i just wanna kno about how much it would cost as i will need to start puttin the pennies away now!

My mail adress is Yaninnya@acn.waw.pl , Rovrav27. I done it in my car but it is not the easy job. You need to modify or prepare huge amount of parts. The proove that it can be done - my CC:
