Posts: 678 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | I thought that you were gonna make your own Turbo kit for the Cinq - what happened to that idea? Anyway - this may help a bit - it's a PM I recieved a while back from a guy in Poland who has put the 1.4 (made to 1.6!)Uno Turbo engine in his Cinq. Not too much info - but at least it is proof that it can be done if you have the money/time/expertise! Regards, Matt :) From Subject: RE: Your Cinq's engine... Posts: 66 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Come on guys....someone MUST be able to give me the polish guys email address....or a contact name and email of someone in this country who has done this conversion. I was going to turbo my 1100 engine but I thought what the hell.....why not drop the 1.4 turbo in. All that concerns me is the Engine and Gearbox mounts and exactly what has to be dont to the shell to fit the engine in. The rest...I can work out myself.....Ive put a Honda VTEC Engine in a Mini as my last project so this will be roughly the same I guess!!! My Fiat Technician mate even suggested dropping the Copue Turbo engine and box in.....that would be fun wouldnt it!!! HELP GUYS???? Cheers Andy[8D]
