Hi,
I have a 1993 Cinquecento SX with factory central locking and electric windows.
The other day I went to put the key in the door and the central locking wouldn't work - its completly dead. I've checked the fuses and they all seem to be fine.
The following day, with the car running, I tried to open the drivers window. There was what sounded like a loud squealing or squeaking coming from what seemed to be the bottom of the dash, behind it. Now the both electric windows won't go down or up at all - dead. The fuses for the e-windows seem to be all functional.
Is it a coincidence that the two failed so close to each other? Are the two systems linked in someway?
Can someone help? Thanks in advance.
