Any comments from Tom and Tom?

With that (blade type) design, youde need to account for material property difference between the bar and blade, but thats easy enough

TBH theres loads of nice areas on the back you could hang something like that from without impinging on the chassis too much.

I cant see this type youre on about John, its always appeared a black art to me, I can only see the ones with variable pick-off location.

EDIT: OK, now I understand (had to think a bit or structural mechanics there).

You could do something like that on an angle for the front bar - the bar rate would be related to distance between pickoff and pivot - I dont see why it would be impossible on the front, only difficult!

Material selection and supply could be entertaining mind!

A nice example from Alfaholics

Big problem on the front would be that the linking bar wants to go through the exhaust. A bend would solve that!

Transverse link in the Alfaholics one looks like CDS tube. Maybe EN45 for the blade (that blade looks a bit thick at its thinnest to me for the principle to be fully exploited)?

WTH, adjustable top mounts first. Give it some static negative. :yum: Who does em, CDA?
