Wondering if anyone can give me some advice. Due to a problem with the central locking my locks go up and down a lot (this doesn't bother me too much) but I ended up locking my keys inside the car and had to break in to get them by lifting the rubber part at the bottom of the window. Now every time I open/close my windows the rubber bit comes up. I managed to get them back in and looking normal but it keeps happening. So does anyone have any idea how to keep them down? Do I need new ones?

Dont necessarily need new ones you just havent put them on correct.

You need to put them on the door linings where they sit. The way i was told to do this was by removing the door cards on the inside and refitting them doing it that way, however there are various other methods

If you've ripped them out, you really need new ones.

There is a real knack to doing it (which I don't have). Really is a 5 minute job for one who knows.

I am having the same problem, when i put my driver side window down it starts to drag the inside rubber down as well. When i put my window up it dislodges the outer rubber and that pops out of place and i have to push it back down by hand. Will upload some pics soon.

You both need new seals.

mine does similar to the pic above except for the fact it takes the plastic right angle thing with it aswell. (think someone tried breaking in as top of door also bent slightly)

however doesnt always do it probably once every week n i play with the windows alot .

so i cba hah

cheapskate the seals are only £8 for the pair from fiat

lol it rains so much in england they never stick anyway. only does it in the sun, so probably will buy in the summer
