| idle speed where is this wire from? after changing head gasket, water pump, timing belt etc the car has started feeling a little lumpy especially when idleing could this wire be the cause? the wire is red and yellow when running the car seems fine any ideas?

| Re: idle speed could the timing be slightly out but when set up marks were defonitly correct on both marks

| Bring On The Trumpets!  | Re: idle speed no idea where that's from, but looks to be on the gearbox side of the engine, and that wire isn't very long - have you had a good look around to see if there are any obvious sockets that seem to be missing a connector?

| Get a wriggle on!  | Re: idle speed is it a sensor for the speedometer? [dunno if it has one] or the lead that fits to the reversing light switch? it cant be much as it only has one wire/connector, so it isnt off the SPI unit
