Re: Mot

1 seat is fine as long as its drivers Remove all seats and seat belts etc.

They may frown on your harness mounting though, so thake it out and use normal belt.

hummm thats the problem on my bucket seats there is no where to mount the seat belt clippy thing witch the seatbelt clips into. , at the moment i have drilled a hole into the side of the subframe and clipped the harness bit through that but im worried that there going to fail that .

Re: Mot

I'd take it in...see what they say. In this area they are purely looking at safety, and so I'd take anything they say as usefull information.

You will get a free retest. My latestest tester let me have 4 or 5 tests free

My probs were emissions based, not a killer, but seat belts etc is something you REALLY don't wanna mess with and get wrong.

Re: Mot

It was a few years ago now, but my old Alfasud went through an MOT with just two race seats and full race harnesses.

(I needed an MOT for tarmac rallies even though they were all off-road)

Apparently hydraulic handbrakes are ok for the MOT now too, they were not allowed back then so a secondary cable had to be rigged up just for the test...
