Get a spare dash from a scrappy. Fabricate what you want in wood, metal plastic filler foam etc etc. When you are happy with that, get a mould made and, if you've done a good job, get some of your investment back by flgging them.

Cheers

finding a fridge small enough to shoehorn in that gap would be very dificult i'd say. Satnav is a piece of proverbial!

Rather than try and fit an existing fridge, make the insulated area during your fabrication and get a hold of a stand alone peltier unit for cooling. You would need to vent it somewhere as it gets the fridge cold it gives off hot air, but you would have that problem with the fridge anyway.

Your quite right mate, someone would only put their feet on my dash once, I can tell you that for free.

I'm hopefully going to do a custom dash insert that houses a Sony PSONE and screen so I can play Gran Turismo 2 and drive my Yellow Cinq sporting on the game when at cruises :D, quality stuff

Ask any racer, any real racer, it don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning's winning!

The only person to put their feet on my dash is me (during in car acrobatics to fit stuff) or the very attractive female passenger (unfortunately fairly rare)
