Servicing

Its about time my car was serviced. This is what i've decieded so far. Prices are from halfords (hey, its sunday and no-where is open). I've never serviced a car before tho, so I don't know if they are good or bad prices. Have I missed anything, or should swap anything? Whats the best thing for flushing the engine through when changing the oil?
Code:
Plugs Bosch Super 4's £20
Oil Filter	Champion F107 £ 8
Fuel Filter	Champion L201 £11
Gearbox Oil	Castrol Syntax £10 (x2)
Engine Oil	Magntec 15w/40 £25 (4.5litre)
Brake Fluid	Castrol Response	£ 8 (1litre)
Thanks!

I just used some Wynn's engine flush. It was just a few £ from Halfrauds. Halfrauds tend to be a bit more expensive for most things though [V]. You could get the Magnetec 15W/40 £10 cheaper if I found the right places [8D]. FIAT's usually more expensive than Halfrauds though [V]

I put some Magnetec 10W/40 just a moment ago, with a new oil filter. The filter was about a fiver and the oil was £9.99+VAT.

Possibly beware of the Super4's I bought aset a while back and my car hesitated upto 3 grand then lept forward, very strange looking and embarassing, was advised to change back to standard or get splitfires.

THere'll be a local factors that could supply the stuff cheaper!

I paid £3.50 for a FRAM Filter for my 1242cc at my local factors.

Fuel systems are good fun, yu will as Sie and myself can attest, get totally covered in petrol.[8D]

You could opt for the halfrauds fuel filter at £3 which will be likely the same as the Champion one?

Yup, the Champion one's about 1/2" too small on diameter and 3/4" short on length, you need to stretch the pipes to get one on.

Pete.
