driveshafts

Have any of you turbo guys had issues with driveshafts or cv,s failing or wearing quicker than usual with the extra hp and torque going through them?

Lol Aaron!

I would have thought that driving style would have more effect on driveshaft bearing life than the extra power. If you do lots of rough gear/ clutch changes or rag the hell out of the car at every set of traffic lights then yes, they will wear out quicker. But that also applies to any car whether it's a turbo or not.

Smooth gear and clutch changes are the key.

I think that the shafts and joints are the same size a larger Punto ones so there really shouldn't be a problem.
