alternator problems?

Hi wonder if anyone else has had this problem too. My battery light has been on on the cinq for the last week or so, i have checked the battery connections and the belt on the alternator and all seems normal is it something simple i have missed or is it new alternator time?

cheers

Re: alternator problems?

Hi and welcome.

If the small wire is correctly connected then its possibly alternator time. Put a meter on it and see what its giving.

Cheers

Re: alternator problems?

Nor me

The heater draws NO power at all. The fan does a little but thats a minuscule amount compared to what a battery puts out.

Come back if it starts playing up again
