Hub nut size?

Hi all,
Just about to change out one of my diveshaft boots. On the in board side. Im ok with the procedure having done it multiple times on a peugeot 205. I was just wondering what size the hub nut is before i go out and buy the wrong sized socket.
I know its probably in the haynes manual somewhere, but i thought id aks on here before scouring through it.
Cheers.

Re: Hub nut size?

You don't have to undo the hub nut to get the shaft out. Remove the top of the two front upright retaining bolts and loosen the lower one. You can then tilt the upright enough to release the shaft from the cup.

Cheers

As stated you don't need to undo the hub nut to change the gaters, but if you want to mess about with all that the front is 32mm.

'Should', but Plus gas the strut nuts for a couple of days beforehand.

Ah, I wondered why you knew what RC said, off the top of your head GoBe

Just to mention, we did this today on mine....they are a bit difficult to release from the cups but with a bit of gentle persuasion, do come out, and it saves a lot of hassle
