(G) Boyracer 0 Me 1 LOL

Had to share this with you lot, last night driving back along minding my own business when I see a Corolla Gti Twin Cam 16v (G Reg), now this are fast for an old car as my friend had one and took me out in it, Now I was driving our small car (Sei 1.1i sx).

Anyway I followed this guy who proceed to laugh at other cars he pulled along side them and then he would boot it away from traffic lights, now this car sounded like it had a blown exhaust and the driver had 2 other people in the car and it was generally in bad condition which would explain the next suprise.

This car standard has 130bhp and my small car had just over 52bhp standard so I knew he would kill me in a straight line and probably in corners as well.

Anyway pulled away from a set of lights behind this car and he booted it as expected, so I followed him to the next set of lights and then out of the corner of my eye I see out lights change so I floored it and scooted round him with a massive grin on my face, to say he was a little miffed would be an understatement, bet he got a right earful from his passengers due to the fact he had be overtaken by a car no bigger than your average Wheelie bin. :D

Just goes to show you can beat a fast car but only if you can get them off guard :D

exactly man... 9 times out of 10 those boy racers with their fast seriously old cars actually cant drive around corners! u can suprise a few ppl in these little things that is for sure!

I always think to myself (except in the case of the Ferrari.....(see leisure lounge)) "Your car might be faster than mine, but at least mine doesn't have blue smoke pouring out the back"!! :D
