Hi All, as the title suggests really ,just wondering if fitting Seicento 14" Abarth rims on a Sei Sporting, WITHOUT the large spacers at the front poses any problems?

They are running slightly wider tyres, 185/50s. But I previously had these same rims and tyres on my Cinq Sporting, and everything was fine, but since Fiat fit the Abarth sei with fairly large spacers(10mm?) I thought they may have done this for a reason? Perhaps catching issues? On the other hand, is it just cosmetic or performance enhancement to increase the front track?

Any info appreciated!
