Unhappy Wing mirror got knocked off last night...

...probably by some drunken muppet, or soon to have his/her spleen removed with salad tongs, Chav...

Not happy about it, as they've proper given it some stick, and broke the plastic cup that holds the ball joint in place.
So now I have a floppy passenger side mirror, and I'm not sure what to do about it.

The chances of me coming across a set of mirrors in the correct colour are next to zero, and I can't figure out from looking at it whether it would be possible to transplant my mirror and arm into a new outer baseplate.

I don't really want to go for mirrors in a different colour- that might just look odd.

I'd love to get cups, but can't afford it - and since this sort of shinnanigans seems to go on quite a bit down my street, I'd rather not risk expensive mirrors anyway.

Are there mirrors (apart from cinq ones) from other fiats that might fit a Sei?

*sigh*

Black mirrors would be quite trick on this colour sei.

SPI cars come in this colour also? get down scrappy but are an easy spray/DIY job

According to here and other forums i have visited some people have documented how poor visibility is when having cup style mirrors over stock

Wink Re: Wing mirror got knocked off last night...

Yeah I've heard that about cups, but never felt restricted when driving cars with them on... each to their own i guess.

Gonna try and get some black ones methinks, and a spare passenger base, and try and figure out a way to get my grey ones sorted - but leave them off incase of future incidents

Re: Wing mirror got knocked off last night...

also the cups dont have a backing plate and block a section of the window

you can easily swap back plates on sei mirrors

Re: Wing mirror got knocked off last night...

The S models come with black mirrors without paint, if you see what I mean.

I actually like different coloured mirrors (to the body, that is) but was thinking of having one red and one green, for port and starboard.
