The bolts holding the lock onto the column are shear bolts, the head should snap off as they reach the correct tightness. This means you have to either slot or cut the bolts to get them out.

Remember to take the immobiliser ring too.

Cheers

well your really just talking about the wiring needing extended/relocated.
you would be losing the steering lock remember

have started another thread about steering boss's need too know if the 21mm cinq colomn is the same size as the sei ?

been looking at a snap off style wheel thus not requiring the locking mechanisum :)

Im making a plate to go there, having some gauges and switches there.

You'll need to remove the coloum plastic surround thingy, 3self tappers. and then the ignition barrels i have removed;) ;) are something like a few 10mm bolts, and one i did needed a slot putting in the bolts or a socket hammering on them as they were smooth:p

have seen them smooth bolts had me stumped for a while but sloting or nocking a socket on sounds easy enough lol

The ring around the barrel that 'talks' to your key to switch off the immobiliser.

quick reply

so click the multiquote on every post you want to quote.however on the last quote hit the quote button instead.
they will all be added.
you can even multiquote onto a different thread than where the quotes are from(so dont select quote on the last post just multiquote)
after you have multiquoted you will see the option to select or disregard your quoted posts under the posting text box(not quick reply)
