i know it's not of major importance but i'd really like my stereo to behave like it would in any other car and switch off when i turn the key

couldn't see a way to do this on a brief look at the wires from the dashboard when i fitted it yesterday (although there was one - pink i think - that wasn't connected either end)

any ideas?

easiest way is to connect the live to an ignition live on the dash,think i spliced into the electric window circuit when i did it

cutting into another bit of the electrics

i rekcon i'd cock that up royally!

use scotchloks,these connect to the existing wire without cutting all the way through.couple of quid from halfords and **** easy to use

dashboard somewhere presumably?

if memory serves me right now i think about it,i pulled out the passenger electric window switch and actually joined it to the wire that lights the switch symbol.its two wires,one live and one earth although i cant remember which was which although the earth is probably brown or black
