I was initially looking for cars with looking with non-vented 257mm discs and notice for the Bravo/a if we exclude the HGT/2.0 i 16v we have two pad sizes and four part numbers:

MDB1733/MDB1828 Thickness: 17.1, Length: 149.7, Width: 52, Disc Type: Solid
MDB1734/MDB1829 Thickness: 17.1, Length: 156.3, Width: 52.56, Disc Type: Vented

All callipers are ATE Anything released after '96 uses the 1828/9 pads, anything released in '95 uses the 1733/4 pads. So it begs the question, what changed to make the Mintex part numbers change & are they still a bolt for bolt replacement of the standard 'cento callipers?

Not quite custard, here are the part numbers from the mintex website -
Punto GT Turbo (08/93-08/99) Lucas: MDB1240
Punto GT Turbo (08/93-08/99) Bendix: MDB1666
Punto GT 8v* (01/97-08/99) ATE: MDB1734
Punto Turob (01/97-08/99) ATE: MDB1829

The first two are early PGT callipers, I think one is for ABS equiped cars the other is for non-ABS cars. The Punto GT 8v* just confuses me but it's the other type of calliper seen on the Bravo/a & then the late PGT Turbo calliper. As you can clearly see the early calliper pad numbers don't match up with the part numbers found for the Bravo/a callipers. I've tried diffrent pad manus for part numbers and get simlar results.

* No rear pad part # for this car, is this a LDH only model?

but that could be a difference in pad material per application.
any differences in the pads doesnt affect you as long as you get the pads to suit your caliper.
there are caliper makes that follow a different brands pad shape.
eg my bendix calipers were the ATE pad design.
the bolt/hub pattern doesnt change on the range so wont be an issue for you

More to open up the options a little further than anything else. As it stands I think I can find any Bravo/a being broken and have the callipers of the front, as well as the back if present.
