i dont know how to hook it up but tbh why have it? i have a sporting and rarely look at it! turn it into something unique but dont ask me what thou because i have no idea lol

Do you have the Sei Fiat workshop manual? It contains, schematics, albeit, a bin erroneous, but should give you all the information you need. There are only 4 (i think) wires to the module, one is -Ve (easy to find), one is a switched +Ve on the ignition, one is for the back light, and one is the signal. (all from memory)

I presume the signal is from the ecu, and you can simply fit it into the loom/ecu connector.

yer ive got the workshop manual. i just really dont know where the signal comes from. is confusing. got all the other 3. but im just sumped on what wire i need for the signal.

i dont know how to hook it up but tbh why have it?

As well as the filling a large void that the dash has and for the cosmetic value there are other reasons such as a wish to not over-rev the car say on an early morning for example

I counteract and say why not fit one to an SX?

rite. ive bin lookin through the workshop manual and it looks like there is a supposed connector behind the dash sumwhere. its labbeled E15. and takes the negative, illumination, ignition live and the signal feed. but im still not sure if the connector is there in an sx. i havnt tthe time to take my dash apart just yet as im traveling constantly. but would someone with a sporting do me a massive favour and take there rev counter out and see which way the connector is coming from behind the dash. ie.e from behind the speedo side or the empty void side. any help as always much appreciated.

ive got my dash out mate completely because its being painted so all the wiring is easy to see. i will post some pics 2moz of the wiring so you can see exactly how it should go. hope this helps

It would be awesome if you could post those pics, I am considering myself to get a rev counter for my 2002 sx
