hi folks, not been in here that much since I bought the panda, but I've finally dragged my ass into gear and started working on the cinq (removing dents from quarter panel, finishing front and rear bumpers) considering a few engine upgrades while the poor thing is off the road such as a port and polish, chip, gsr etc and uprated brake discs/pads and a general in depth service any other suggestions?

You could always take the engine, box and wheels out of the Panda and put them in the Cinq!

Seeing as though you have an 899cc and the 1008cc, I'd be tempted to get a 1248cc, box and driveshafts, swap the 1008cc into the 899cc, then put the 1248cc into the red one.

You effectivley get a free upgrade in the process.

As soon as mine's back on the road, you can have as much help and tools from me as you like to get it done quicker/easier. I'll be itching for a car to fiddle with anyway.

Alternaticly, my 1108 MPI is jsut sitting doing nothing. It has a leak around the head, not sure why...but you can have the head, cam, etc if you like. or take the intake rail an injectors and bolt it to your head and splice the injectors. Won't give you much power, but the mpi shoud give smoother throttle and no flat spot.
