| | Re: Cinquecento rear hub/bearing replacement this is my summary of your question a failed bearing may make a deep humming/rumbling sound while you are driving along, the noise will vary with speed or, it could have play in it, ie, be loose, jack up the wheel in question and grab each side of the tyre, either at 12 and 6 o clock, or 6 and 9 o clock positions, and try to wobble the wheel, if there is play you will feel it I doubt things will get that bad that it will make the wheel fall off, dont think thats possible at all
