| | Re: Remove/Replace Rear Arms welcome to the forum A squeak could be coming from either the arm bushes, or the shocker bolt, or possibly something thats rubbing against the arm or shocker. Check the tightness of the bolts is all I can suggest, perhaps check the routing of the handbrake cable, maybe it has been trapped.

| | Re: Remove/Replace Rear Arms thanks, yeah orange would be good. In fact any colour would be good if people taking parts off like this are willing to put in a few mins with a wire brush and time for the paint to dry, go for it!

Posts: 2 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: Remove/Replace Rear Arms I am new in the forum, and since I did not find any devoted area for self presentation, I start here with my question. I changed the rear arms of my Seicento following levemir instructions. Everything went well, but in the end, when all work was done, I found a strange thing on the car: the rear part of the car is higher than before (about 30 - 40 mm)!!!I measuered the distance from the floor up to the corner between the bumper and the mudguard, and I found the following values: about 630 mm on the left side and about 610 mm on the right side (there is also a big difference between the two sides). Making the same measurement on the Seicento of my neighbour, I found 590 mm on both sides of the car. I had a deep look to all the work, I fit the springs in their seats, but I do not find any particular error in the job. Hence, the only reason I find to this strange result, is that Fiat made different rear arms, depending on year/model and so on. Anyone know anything about this? Is there any way to identify the rear arm (code or number or something else)? Thank you averybody in advance for your help!!!
